Question 1

Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 vs Vitpilen 401?

Accepted Answer

Svartpilen is the scrambler; Vitpilen is the cafe/clip-on. Same ~373 cc / 44 hp 390-class motor (husqvarna svartpilen). Bars and tires decide which one you keep.

Question 2

Svartpilen 401 vs KTM Duke 390?

Accepted Answer

Duke 390 is the orange volume bike with more dealers. Svartpilen is the same punch with Husky styling. Service is KTM-world either way.

Question 3

401 reliability and valve checks?

Accepted Answer

Valve checks and 390-family cam/chain stories apply. A KTM shop that will touch a Husky is the requirement.

Question 4

Svartpilen 401 for beginners?

Accepted Answer

Power is first-bike OK. The scrambler ergos are more forgiving than a Vitpilen. Still a 44 hp naked — not a Grom.
