What you actually do there
Guided rides leave in the morning. Expo North and Expo South sit on Beach Road and Festival Commons. Factory and aftermarket booths, demo rides at the designated area, training sessions, evening shows. Brands on the village streets are mixed on purpose: Harley-Davidson, Honda, Yamaha, BMW, and the rest. Americade has sold itself as multi-brand since the 1980s.
Lake George is a village. Parking and shuttle matter. The Adirondack roads around the lake are the point of the week if you actually came to ride, not only to walk the expo.
Americade vs Laconia vs Sturgis
Laconia Motorcycle Week is mid-June in New Hampshire (in 2026, June 13 to 21). Sturgis is August in South Dakota. Americade is late May on the lake. If your hotel is Meredith or Weirs Beach, you are not at Americade. If it is Deadwood, you are very not at Americade.
