Myrtle Beach Bike Week 2026 has two official windows. Spring rally: May 8 to May 17, the 87th annual, the one most people mean when they type “bike week myrtle beach 2026.” Fall rally: September 25 to October 4. Same Grand Strand in South Carolina, different month, smaller fall crowd.
The official site is the date source. Bar flyers that slide a week either way are promoting their own patio, not the rally calendar.
Spring 2026
Ten days in May, from Little River down toward Georgetown: Myrtle Beach, North Myrtle Beach, Surfside, Murrells Inlet, Garden City. Organizers put typical spring draw in the hundreds of thousands. There is no single paid gate. Ocean Boulevard, U.S. 17, dealer lots, and inlet bars are the map.
South Carolina helmet law is not a full-age requirement. Cross into North Carolina on a day ride and everyone wears a helmet. That trip is a common “going north” loop toward Calabash and Wilmington.
Fall 2026
September 25 to October 4 is the second official week. Cooler, fewer bodies than May, same stretch of coast. If you searched spring dates in August, the fall window is the one still ahead.
Not Daytona, not Laconia
Daytona Bike Week is March in Florida. Laconia is June in New Hampshire. Myrtle Beach is the Carolinas coastal week. “Black bike week” listings are a different event and a different search. Stick to the May 8 to 17 and September 25 to October 4 windows unless you know you want that other calendar.
